PROPOSED AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN COATBRIDGE
Sep 2020
CMA are currently developing proposals for the redevelopment of a brownfield town centre site in Coatbridge for affordable housing.
Whilst respecting the massing of neighbouring properties and working to the Housing Association brief the proposals seek to make a positive contribution to the streetscape using a restrained palette of quality materials.
LONGCRAIG SCOUTS WATER SPORTS CENTRE

CMA have been appointed by South East Scotland Scouts to oversee the alterations and extension to their Longcraig Scout Water Sports Centre.
Planning Permission has been granted by City of Edinburgh Council and work is due to commence on site early in 2021 on what will prove to be one of our most dramatic but also most exposed sites!
NEW HOUSE IN THE COUNTRYSIDE
May 2020
Planning Permission has been granted by Midlothian Council for this bespoke new family house for a private client on a generous plot in the countryside with fabulous view towards the Pentland Hills.
We are looking forward to the project commencing on site.
GULLANE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMPLETION

On behalf of Hart Builders Ltd. Covell Matthews have overseen the Construction Phase Technical Design to successfully deliver this development of Affordable Housing in the centre of Gullane.
The development has now been successfully handed over to East Lothian Council.
PROGRESS ON SITE IN LEITH
Dec 2019
Good progress is being made by Hart Builders on site in Leith with the structural steel work going up for one of the two blocks of affordable housing flats for Port of Leith Housing Association.
When complete this project will provide a total of 82 affordable housing dwellings split between two mirror image buildings.

NEW COVELL MATTHEWS WEBSITE LAUNCHED

Covell Matthews' new website was launched this month with a fresh new look and a range of new projects as well as some old favourites. The site now includes an introduction to the whole team from both Aberdeen and Edinburgh offices and a ‘News’ page to keep everyone up to date on company developments.

Congratulations to our Edinburgh team members, Jen (pictured with Alyn & Hector) and her husband Nick as well as Gregor and his wife Agnieszka, who have all become new parents this month! Here at CMA we are proud of our family ethos, providing flexibility and support to our team with young famlies to allow them to thrive in their career while also providing the attenion to their families that they need. We look forward to welcoming Gregor and Jen back into the office after their respective leaves and helping them settle into a successful work/family life balance.
