Proposed Remodelling and Extension of Existing Bungalow, Lasswade, Midlothian
The brief was to remodel the existing dilapidated 1950’s bungalow in Midlothian to form a contemporary 4 bedroom family house.
The site occupies a prime site overlooking fields on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
Local Authority Planning restrictions required the frontage of the property to remain single storey in height, however planning consent was obtained to raise the eaves height to improve the first floor accommodation and a new extension was formed to the rear of the property, opening onto their private garden and overlooking the fields, to provide the client with the accommodation they were seeking.
