A 7no apartment split level house on a steeply sloping gap site with exceptional views over Deeside. The design of the south facing solar space overcomes neighbour privacy issues and allows the solids ground and first floor level floor slabs to act as a heat sink from passive solar energy.
The onsite SUDS system incorporates a store for grey water recycling. Solar panels, a wood burning fire and underfloor heating provide a sustainable energy source for this highly insulated development.
