A private house for young family has been built within the carcass of an existing bungalow. The works include the addition of a first floor with 3 bedrooms and the extension to rear elevation to form the living/dining area.

The traditional materials palette for the main part of the building include slate, render and stone. The rear extension has been clad with vertically laid larch and dormer windows with projecting zinc surrounds visually break the line of the eaves, providing additional character to the building.
